I am grateful for being alive and I am grateful for my health.
I am grateful for one person asking me today "Why are you doing what you are doing?"
It made me think about it. It made me want to know why I am doing some things, that I do.
The question was asked at my workplace by a colleague. I realized then, that I should dig deeper into what I am doing, not just do things. I should know the why, before I do things. A bigger why, than my supervisor advising me to do this or that :p
I should unde…

I am grateful for having the opportunity to be there for a friend and help him see the world and life and happiness from a new angle. There were lots of moments when my sentences got a reply "I have never thought of it in that way". He went along with all the positive stuff I talked about. All the -how to look at things-. Many things he might try to change some situations in his life for the better :)
I made him happy and it made me happy :)

I wanted to apologize for not sending an ezine this week. I was in NY last week visiting our cable networks as well as 30 Rock. It was a very productive and exciting week, but unfortunately, the ezine had to be postponed one week.
I hope you are having a good month... things are getting very tough out in the world, and I know it is sometimes quite challenging to stay motivated and positive. I know you can do it though...how does the saying go? "If I can do it, anyone can do it?" lol... Keep smil…

I'm tired. and I'm happy about it! :)
I went to a "day out in the forest". it was actually a "family day", but as I couldn't get anyone from my family to come with me today - I went alone. not all alone. with a lot of nice strangers :)
I started carving a wooden spoon :) (I made it about 20 minutes because I didn't have more time to do it, I took it along with me and plan to finish it someday :D, it took a few hours for others to make the spoon there)
I tasted different sorts of honey and tea :)…

it is autumn here. the leaves on the trees are red and yellow and orange and everything is really really beautiful, especially in low light (like the evening sun :) ).
so I have been going outside for a few days when I see from the window that the light is right, and just take photos of nature that we have here in this part of city.
I planned to take some pictures of the colorful leaves, but just outside our garden while walking down the sidewalk I heard some scrabble - I looked and I saw two sq…

What you think about expands so you want to watch your thoughts. Thinking about things that you don't want will only create more of what you don't want. Thinking about good things will bring more good into your life. Wake up with a positive thought as to how your day will unwind and you have a great day coming to you. Practice avoiding those negative thoughts. Just say no and move on to a positive thought.
May all good things come your way.....

Think ahead 5 years. You've given yourself permission to be all you can and want to be.
You believed in yourself. You've taken all of the neccesary action steps to achieve it. Your wildest dreams have come true.
Now really feel it!
Pretend like you did when you were a child, every child has a great imagination.
Get emotional! touch it, smell it see it. expect it!
How do you feel about yourself? Pretty darn good I Imagine.
Now, Let's go the same 5 years ahead but this time you did not give yours…

Yesterday my mom took my younger brother to an adventure that was organized by the company where she works. they took a 2 hour ride by boat on the biggest river of Estonia, then they had a picnic and after that they visited an animal park where they could see many local wild animals. The animal park helps the animals who have been hurt badly, to recover and then they might take the animal back into the wild. Or sometimes it might happen that the mother for some reason leaves her cubs and never r…

I wanted to share this - I got my mom into keeping a gratitude journal herself :)
things have changed here since that, I suppose. of course there have been other changes as well. in me also. I keep reading all kinds of inspiring things and getting my life better and better and happier every day.
but I still consider it a BIG THING that I got my mom keeping the gratitude journal :D
most of the time in my life I have always been the more optimistic one in some things. I try to appreciate what I ha…

I have recently been getting back in touch with so many old friends from High School on Facebook. These social networks are absolutely amazing tools for connecting with so many people from both the past and the present.
Yesterday, I met an old friend for lunch that I hadn't seen in about 28 years. (Ugh, how can so many years have passed?)
We had such a wonderful time catching up and filling each other in on what has been meaningful and important through the years. Love, family, career... all m…

My weekend was so fun filled that it kept me from sending out my weekly ezine from i-choose-happiness.com! So, although it's already Tuesday, I figured I should write about it here so that at least I can make some sort of online contribution this week!
On Saturday, while Jenna took Emma for a "Back-to-School" shopping spree, Jack and I hit the beach. We went to Zuma for a few hours and spent some father & son bonding time. We had such a great time. Jack LOVES going in the water, and I actua…

I've been reviewing and assimilating my llife's journey as of the recent years. Apart from saying "I'm sorry", asking for "forgiveness", saying "Thank you", "I love you" and "God bless you", I was directed further to some other peaceful thoughts. Remembering clearl…
