Thank you! Yes, these little creatures are always fun to see and look at :) At first we put out this little house just for birds, but it soon became popular among the squirrels, too. And in the spring last year we had left out the house still in May (I was just too lazy to take it off) and then a parent came with four little squirrels and they often came here to have a little snack, so I just couldn't take the house off for that summer (nor for this summer). We don't feed them as much in the summer as in the winter, when often it is snowy everywhere and all these little birds and squirrels have harder time to find something to eat. But it's such a bliss to have these "pets", who take quite good care of themselves and give us such joy for a little snack :)

It's really good to be here. And have you here! It really feels warm. And I started using my blog here a bit like a gratitude journal (since I hadn't started with one yet). It is really good to be grateful and to be happy and to have a warm place like this to share all of this :)

FEEL SO GOOD (one fave piece ... of Chuck Mangione)

I remember what our (highschool) Grammar and Literature teacher had been telling us: Avoid starting your sentence with the word 'because'. And I believe she was mostly concerned on the formal stuff.
